The Bay State Breakers is a comprehensive hockey organization composed of teams competing in the Eastern Junior Hockey League, the Empire Junior Hockey League, the Eastern Hockey Federation, and the New England Girls League. Operated within the Rockland Ice Rink, also utilizes a number of other facilities, such as The Bog, Hobomock Arenas, Quincy Shea, Weymouth Connell, and Bavis Arena. All teams utilize each facility, while the AAA Elites, will utilize all facilities except The Bog. All skill sessions are at the Rockland Ice Rink. Skills sessions designed by Tom MacDonald develop motor skills and cognitive learning through age appropriateness, over-speed and decision training methods. The Breakers organization offers high- level hockey to girls and boys from cross-ice mites through juniors. In addition to a full time administrative staff including the general manager, director of hockey operations and coaches of the junior and minor junior teams. The Breakers organization is proud to have Mike Sullivan as their coaching education and skills development coordinator.

The Girls U10 Green team won the prestigious Connecticut Polar Bear Tournament over Christmas Break. The team rattled off a perfect 4-0 preliminary round then met Team Rhode Island in the finals and despite training 1-0 midway through the second period, scored two unanswered goals to seal the championship.

Seven of the Bay State Breakers Girls Teams competed in the 27th Annual Connecticut Polar Bears Holiday Tournament along with over 200 other teams from the United States and Canada. This is the largest girls hockey tournament in North America. The results for the Breakers' girls were outstanding.
